Stewart Webster, the founder and CEO of URTBridge Foundation, Inc. [You Are The Bridge Foundation, Inc.] comes from a long family line of early childhood educators. As a licensed, South Florida teacher specializing in early childhood education and as a psychologist, he was always concerned about not only children loving reading books but the fact that people were using electronic gadgets as pacifiers, basically pushing mindless pictures to kids rather than encouraging them to think and comprehend.
In his search for a rich, attractive, and challenging alternative to ‘technology pacifiers’ for children in their formative years, his research led him to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. After being approved for the partnership which covers the entire Broward County, Webster intends to broaden the scope of the Imagination Library program by partnering with a local Broward County university to provide educational, multilingual materials for parents and/or caregivers. “The challenge may look daunting, but if I improve even one life, it will be worth it”
